Iran’s girls’ under-18 five-a-side field hockey team received permission to compete in the world championships. The president of the Hockey Federation announced the decision on the sidelines of the Nagoya Asian Games, during a meeting with Asian Hockey Federation officials. A cooperation agreement between the hockey federations of Iran and Oman was also renewed.
